Huston Platt "Dixie Twister"

This is my Unlce Huston in his 1970 camaro funny car now owned by Randall Davis, (Huston's crew cheif from 1970). Randall found this piece of drag racing history after years of searching and has restored to it's original beauty. Seeing my uncle behind the wheel of his car after 40yrs. was just awesome, and brought a little tear to my eye as well as his son Rocky's when Huston said "I'm at home". He had a huge smile and looked 10yrs. younger when he got out of the car, he was laughing and cutting up with his grandson Logan, it was great to be there. Henderson, N.C. 10-16-10 East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame Car Show.

I was there the day of the accident at Yellow River. I was about 18 years old. It was the worst thing I have ever seen.
