  • Very nice layout. I just luv the big power. Keep the videos coming. Are you guys doing DCC or DC?

  • @tractorguy100 - The layout has been operating through Digitrax DCC since January 2008, with one Super Chief command station and six boosters stationed throughout. ~ CSL

  • @tractorguy100 - The 25'x70' layout is DCC operated through a Digitrax Super Chief command station and six boosters.

  • I'm not mocking in any way but why only 28 cars???? : )

  • @mygirl22ward - During the train club's open houses the members are encouraged to limit the length of their trains to 25-30 cars as a courtesy to allow more mainline space for more trains at one time. The owner of the BNSF coal train typically pulls 70+ cars when traffic on the layout is lighter.

  • thats a nice train. Im still planning future trains for next year and for 2013.

  • @norfolksouthern8941 - Thanks. The music playing in the background is Pontiac Dreams from Boards of Canada's 2005 album The Campfire Headphase. A great album full of downtempo and ambient music.

  • great looking layout! whats the name of the song

  • Cool soundtrack...Boards of Canada. Now how many people knew that?

  • @mygirl22ward There may have been a train length restriction in pace to allow a greater number of model trains to run simultaneously during the open house operating session.

  • omg i love the CEFX Power man i have the CEFX Sd90Mac and it shows good results on heavy Loads haha plus i'm looking at buying the CEFX AC4400cw, great video five stars :)
