My first attempt at circuit bending - I discovered that you can trigger the drum sounds individually by short-circuiting it in certain places. Drilled a few holes in it, soldered in some buttons and now it's got drums!

  • you need a snare man

  • I thought it was painted- never saw one.

I got one of these for £3 recently for the purposes of bending. I'm just using wires to short the capacitors inside. I think it gives better results than Ghazala's aleatron bend that way but is obviously less pretty and more difficult to use (and dies all the time). As well as the drum sounds, you can trigger several keys with one switch by directing current onto the chipset (be careful not to fry it).

  • I think Ghazala himself is shivering because of this discovery...

  • its't a old on? :P

  • Wow, impressive ...

PS, yes, the red SA-2 is a model very rare... i've not seen many :-(...

  • I didn't know they made a red model
