The song-part " Bin ich doch im schlaf bei dir und red´ mit dir" was translated "In my sleep I am with you". This is not totally wrong but it is to far away from the meaning of the German text.

The correct name is "Kinderlandverschickung" and not "Kindertransport"!

According to the movie credits, this traditional song, arranged for the film by Erich Bender was sung by Kinderchor des NDR. I believe the music is catalogued by Universal International Music, B.V.
