Very Greek looking!! Reminds me of ancient ruins where you would only find partial remains of a building! Excellent idea, I love it!!

@stewartlittleiscool Thanks so much. This year I needed more garden space so I joined two of them together.

@zoomerlawns - by now the beds are once again past their prime, but if you write me at davidmartsolf@comcast.net I will send you a couple of photos from this summer. We planted a combination of flowers and vegetables. Not quite the beauty of "To the Manor Born", but we did get a lot of tomatoes, green beans and hot peppers from these beds. - Dave

It's cool, but I'm interested in how it looks today. The plants leave much to be desired.

@Decoded69 Hi Decoded, I've always been a closet sculptor who likes to try out different shapes and forms. That's why I left some breaks in the walls. Then I thought of castles with the crenelated battlements of the old European castles and tried that idea out. On the inner side there is a layer of vegetation stopper material to hold the dirt and moisture in. Thanks for commenting. - Dave
Thanks Guitar Guy. When I retire I am going to build some about 12 feet high. Probably be useless, but I would leave one side open like the old hollowed out sequoias.

@mella19 Glad you liked it. When I retire I will do something really wild, like huge Legos, maybe even paint them primary colors - no pastels and surreal flesh tones probably.

@19TL85 Well, my dream was to keep building them higher and higher, intertwining them like giant threads like Jack in the Beanstalk up into the sky, but I ran out of funds. This year I joined two of the three together and filled the space with tomatoes, cukes, peppers and the far one with more perennials. Limited budgets create sacrifices. What can I say? Can you point me to others who have really 'lived the dream' so to speak? Thanks.
