  • Ok but why not make a video with the focus on positives? What do you want - and how do you plan on achieving it? That would be interesting to hear.

Life is not an escape from things.

I too walk around with emotions I really don't want to have, but the more I think like that - the more I'm evading what is. The mentality that can make me more positive usually is: "Alright, I feel like shit, too bad. I wonät let that stop me. Now what do I do to achieve my goals?" Then - usually it's better.

  • I think in these videos I've been focused on negatives because I've been focused on fixing things, but of course there are positives and I am in fact taking a positive direction with my life.

I do think its important to understand WHY you feel negative emotions though. Repressing them only gets you so far and they stick with you when you do that. It's far better to strike at the root of the problem.

  • What is the point of this comment? It seems like you are trying to make me feel bad for accepting the shit that has happened to me in my past so I can work past it.

  • Ok, I gave you ample time to offer an explanation and you chose not to, so I have blocked you from my channel.

  • The refrigerator thing totally describes my mom. I don't think she has ever said I have do even an adequate job.

  • Yeah, because we all know that cleaning a refrigerator well is the judgement of whether or not you are a smart person.... what bullshit.

I HATE when parents react with frustration instead of empathy- of course, the whole root of the problem is that they were not empathized with enough themselves as children.

  • I'm starting to think that we had the same father and lived in the same house, yet...never saw each other. Good video and good to see you dissecting your past.

  • When did he ever try to convince himself of that? All XOmniverse is doing is identifying root causes of problems and then trying to fix them. Doing this on youtube may be helping him along and he may want to put it out there to help others. Me thinks you have problems from your own childhood that needs to be worked out ;)

  • Cool video, a lot of my problems I trace back to my childhood. Understanding the cause makes it much easier for me to fix the issue. An example would be that I can get very very angry. Over the last year I have gotten better but if something pisses me off I have to calm myself down. This is from my parents own issues with controlling their anger, not to mention the frequent use of corporal punishment and punishment in general.
