Mettiamo fine ai lunghi trasporti verso i macelli!

La legislazione europea attuale permette il trasporto di animali vivi per molti giorni.

La petizione europea 8hours si prefigge lo scopo di recapitare 1'000'000 di firme al Parlamento Europeo per limitare ad 8 ore il trasporto massimo degli animali verso i mattatoi.

Il trasporto dei cavalli è un problema che ci riguarda da vicino: l'Italia è uno dei maggiori importatori di cavalli per la macellazione che arrivano da noi dopo un viaggio spesso di diverse migliaia di chilometri.

Italian Horse Protection è partner italiano per quanto riguarda i cavalli nella petizione europea 8hours lanciata dall'associazione tedesca Animals' Angels.

Quando vediamo un camion per il trasporto di animali in autostrada, ci chiediamo chi c'è dentro e in quali condizioni?

The European legislation allows the transportation of living animals for several days.

The European petition "8hours" aims to deliver one million signatures to the European Parliament, asking to limit to a maximum of 8 hours the transportation of slaughter-bound animals.

The transportation of horses is a problem that concern us: Italy is one of the greater importers of slaughter-bound horses, which often arrive here after a journey of several thousand kilometres.

Italian Horse Protection is the Italian partner regarding the horses of the European petition "8hours", launched by the German association Animals' Angels.

When we see a truck transporting animals on the highway, do we wonder who is inside and in what conditions?
