John Mayer's Introductory Speech ~ Striking A Chord

John Mayer performed an outstanding acoustic set at Highline Ballroom on May 16, 2011 to raise awareness about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder commonly experienced by veterans years after their service. Organizations supported included Fisher House, NCIRE, and We Are Family. An expert panel including two Lieutenants and a VA Psychologist along with an abridged version of Striking A Chord, a documentary provided insight as to the psychological struggles soldiers often encounter as a result of military participation prior to the set.
