Keith Richards answers a question from a fan. The video was posted on his website around 2003. (BTW: If you listen very closely, you hear Mick Jagger warming up his voice before a Rolling Stones show.)

  • Did someone here just say Keith Moon wasn't a great drummer????? Something wrong with his ears I guess.

  • It depends on taste. I know what he means though. John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page makes Led Zeppelin. But that is because the Bass is my favorite along with Reeds and Piano. John Entwistle and the list goes on too many to mention. Now some Singers are so good they do not need any Instruments to play behind them.

  • ...hell out of many people!!

I don't care, if he was famous or not; if he tried kicking my ass...he'd be answering to Mr. Smith & Wesson!!

That's when the Hippie side of me...turns "cowboy!"

  • Neil Peart...will always be #1.

Ginger Baker, Buddy Rich, Stewart Copeland, etc. So many greats!!

I don't understand the big thing over Keith Moon. He wasn't this great, genius drummer...that I've been seeing on posts for years!! And to put his name...next to Neil Peart, is blasphemy & insanity!!

John Bonham, was a great drummer...at times. But, too heavy handed...most of the time. The biggest problem I have with Bonham, is the way he treated people. A very violent, drunk...who beat the he

  • @eddiemarasco Search him in YouTube and you'll find my 100+ video playlist.

  • @dantean Fillmore East was my first Zappa/Mothers record, too. Strange intro into that world.

  • wow, amazing.. John from the Doors said he possily could have been the drummer of The Stones, 99

  • @TheSilentAnnie let me finsih that sentecne sucks dick

  • @eddiemarasco For me it began with "Live at the Fillmore" and "Just Another Band from L.A." (I think I was 14 when I first heard those, a couple/few years after they were released) and he's been my hero ever since. I was lucky enough to see him with Journey before they became a girl group and he ran for the hills.
