man i feel ya. its gets my blood pumpin. i had a tom last night 30 yds. just couldnt get a shot cause it was to thick. but i got a video from me and my friend this past saturady. check out the gobbling on that and the bird he killed

it seems lik they always win. two weeks ago me and my dad were sneaking in the woods real early on a trail, stepped on a twigg and it made a real quiet snap and right above us there was a huge gobbler that gobbled to the twigg snappin. it was still dar but we could see him silhouted against the sky. we sat down right there and waited for it to get light and he was gobblin and gobblin and i shot and missed.

It's hard to describe to someone who doesn't get it, but I totally understand your comment. Had a blast last Sunday while pursuing a gobbler that circled back around me and then I ended up crawling on my belly thru the grass to within 15 yds of where he was gobbling like crazy. Couldn't see him, though because of an obstruction. In the end the turkey won -- but there's always next year! :)
