Anonymous and the Scientologist Table in Market East Station

Two members of Anonymous, a group of concerned citizens, approach a Scientology recruiting table in Market East Station, Philadelphia, PA, a few hours after the worldwide Anonymous protests began 3/15/2008. While passing out some informative flyers to the people waiting at the table, the Scientologist running it gets very upset very quickly, pushes one Anon and snatches all of his flyers out of his hands. Anon Camerawoman keeps filming and lulz ensue. The Scientologist just flipped out without provocation.

I think you need to ask the police for a CHARGE for assault. And I also think you ought to SUE for being assaulted.

Your pleas of "OK, OK, I'm leaving" (leaving a PUBLIC PLACE that you don't have to leave) give STRONG evidence that you are NOT THE BULLIES HERE.

You should sue in small claims court. CoS probably won't defend the suit, and you could win $2K judgement by default. They you have sheriff SEIZE a bunch of CoS stuff to meet judgement.

Philadelphia is unique in probably the whole country with its Civil Affairs division of the Police Dept. Put their number on your cell phone and give them a call next time you plan on leafletting or anything LEGAL. They'll come out and protect you. Again they're COPS so the scientologists won't dare to touch them, and even regular cops will defer to Civil Affairs.

Market East is both a mall (Gallery) and a train station (SEPTA). The scientologists/Anon were in the train station area, thus not private property.
