I wonder who was the genius who decided the two should sing a duet together. Their voices are perfect complements of each other. Nonaka's voice is a bright tenor and it gives the song a more uplifting appeal, while Yasui's voice is a deep baritone that anchors the song down to some common root/level. The two bouncing voices off each other at the end was also clever - a huge contrast right there along with the lyrics. It's such a yin and yang song.
