Socialized medicine on its way: long waits for treatment, or none at all when procedures are denied. You may have to leave the country to get some procedures. Along the heels of completely removing medical privacy by forcing doctors to reveal your medical history to the government, and a bureaucratic Medical Review Board to decide if your doctor recommended treatments are cost effective, the Obama administration overturns a Bush ruling which protects medical practitioners from being sued if they refuse to perform a procedure on moral grounds. For example, if you go to Doctor A and ask for an abortion, and he refuses due to his personal morality, you can go to another doctor and get it done. Under the new rules, you can sue the doctor who refuses. Same goes for the pharmacist who doesnt want to carry condoms or birth control pills. I'm telling you-these are all stepping stones to all medical practitioners being government employees and getting paid squat. Do you know what happened to the great Canadian doctors once they government decided to cap their income? They left Canada and came to the US. Guess what will happen once we socialize medicine here? Our great doctors will leave too. The biggest problem with this is that its a Ponzi scheme, at first the care will be awesome and the price will be zero. But that is completely unsustainable. All socialized medical systems around the world provide poor services at high prices eventually. It will happen sooner here than anywhere else due to our large population.

  • The People Need The Same Health Care As The People Thay Elect.....

  • Very accurate video on the so-called great Canadian health care. I work in Canada off and on. While up here a simple blood clot went untreated for by doctors for 4 yrs despite my visits and concerns. MRI took 11 months. It went from ankle to hip crippling me. Finally lodged in my heart almost killing me, can't even sue the bastards, bad doctors are all over the place. Good ones have fled, taxes are very high. America don't fall for it.

Name one thing govt run that has worked ?

  • Totally agree socialize medicine does not work.I hear that so many people are given anti-depressant medication when they have had cancer. One woman went to 5 doctors in Canada before tests were done. She had thyroid cancer.I had to medical conditions and the same thing happened. How does a doctor misdiagnosis severe hyperthyroidism.I looked anoxeric..Septecemia gets missed and meningitis gets missed..Look up the story of Aiden Soper.

  • Correction. We do not have the best healthcare system in the world. We have some of the best doctors, but they come from everywhere. btw I lived in Japan, and they have UHC and they are overpopulated. But the difference between them and us is that evil insurance companies don't drop them. While it's true Canada does SUCK, single payer works in many countries VERY WELL. They don'y go to Cuba because the facility is not the best because of sanctions. Stop drinking the Alex Jones Kool-Aid!

  • We have socialized medicine in the UK and yes you can go out of system if you want. But only 10% get it BECAUSE THE NHS IS SO GOOD.

Those 10% only pay the income tax due on the benefit - i.e. 20% of the true cost.

Medical care costs via taxes in UK are HALF the cost of care in the US. It is NOT a ponzi scheme but a very very good idea.

  • you work for the rnc or insurance lobby don't you

  • I'm a sergeant, good sir. It is the same rank. And theres no such thing as a "detective exam." I choose to stay with my men.

And seeing as you're giving up, I might as well give one final fuck you. So...

    Fuck you, too, buddy.

    LOL the bitch blocked me.

  • You use a comedy video as your source and then misquote it, and you also feel ad hominem attacks are a valid argument, and then you say I have lower intellect than you? This from a man who, after 12 years on the force, hasn't risen above traffic cop? Detective exam too hard for you?

Oh well. I've decided I won't even bother responding to you unless you have something intelligent to say or ask. So I'm guessing I won't be responding to you ever again. Pity. Bye bye, officer.

  • Why would a scientist do a documentary on the health care system, n00b?

Sorry, but people of a lower intellect than me make me rage sometimes. Especially newfag atheist liberals.

  • Coming from a man whom asks why all the anonymous folks and then he hides his Identity, amirite?

Also: This is YouTube. It's not a forum, it's not a thread, it's a damn comments section.
