@ddsw1992 Hey, I know it's been a year since you wrote this post but I thought I would mention that you can put water on a plastic bat or the wheel head before you put the clay on. It's only a small amount though, eg dip a finger in water and going over the surface, just enough to form a suction between the clay and the wheel head. If the clay is flying off when you do this, your are putting too much water on:))
