This is a dissection of a live pea aphid (Acyrthosiphon pisum) that has been parasitized by a braconid parasitoid wasp (Aphidius ervi). The aphid would have probably been alive for the next day until the wasp pupated, turning the consumed aphid into a "mummy."

Here's a video of the aphids being parasitized: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEqEYBnsTAE
