A mixing board can make ANYONE sound better, but lots of people do actually manage to sing tolerably well without them. As long as the studio didn't dub in her voice, I think she's a very good singer. She deserves some credit.

She actually has a pretty good singing voice for a non-professional singer. Mezzo-soprano range and lovely, albeit somewhat thin. However, with training, her voice could definitely become stronger and she would be able to hit the high notes better.
I think she's a great actress and not a bad singer and would actually be pretty good as Eliza Dolittle.

She's got a better singing voice than Scarlett Johansson there's no doubt about that, lol. But there still my two fav. actresses.

hmmmm...not bad. She can hit the high notes albeit thinly.... I think she could make a good Eliza Doolittle. I liked her in Pride and Predjudice when I thought I would not, she's proved to be a good actress when given the right roles. With some voice training she could learn to sustain the high notes with more strength. Would it be as great as Julie Andrews? Of course not, but this would be a new version and could be great in its own way.
