Well, you simply lost the hole point with it being a single handed roll. Seems kinda useless to me.

if ur going to hit the stick thats doing to the roll with the other stick, y not just do a roll with both sticks? lol

your adding in the stick hitting sound with your left..and doing the one handed roll with your right ..is a lot different then a roll with both hands..the dynamics of the stick hitting sound with the roll

bingo. the head sound is more uniform between strokes because the same stick is hitting it over and over, and at the same time the 1 of the 3 pattern is accented by the sticks clicking together.
