First 56 minutes view from rear camera sped up 800%
Appoximately 56 minutes condensed into 7 minutes.
Notice how uncrowded bike is...I came out of transition between 1:26 and 1:27 (hour 26 and hour 27)
I ran a distribution of athletes leaving t1(not by swim time I went added in transtiton times).
The minute I started there were 61 in that minute.
from 1:21 to 1:29 the numbers ranged from 61 to 69 per minute avg 63.6 for the previous 5 minutes.
Theres been some discussion that due to the number of athletes starting it was impossible not to draft..
HMMMMM watch this video goes on for almost 20 miles(I averaged 22.2 for first 25 miles)
Looks like plenty of room for me.. The other videos of packs were at around 34 miles into the race.
From this vantage point, it doesn't look bad at all. I see plenty of people being overtaken and falling back. No one (?) latches onto his wheel, which would be so tempting. I cracked up at 5:03-5:08. Dude really, really tried to pass and it was obvious you hammered away. How's that road surface? Is that chip seal?

the video is awesome. ok, i suppose 5:34 is not outstanding, but i've had enough of the nonsense - the drafting here is nothing compared to other races. i wish the triathletes like crwnikeboy would relax. i'm sure he came in first or second and can dis all of the non athletes who came in post 10 hours. GREAT video!

Actually his bike split was 5:34:58. Good but not outstanding. I was racing this year and couldn't believe the number of people blatantly drafting. It was disgusting.

Awesome video. thanks for posting it. Your legs are incredible motors. Agree there was plenty of room for athletes not to draft.

What kind of camera did you use to film this? It's an awesome vantage point and you passing nearly everyone in your sights, you must've finished up there at the top with the best of them. Congratulations on accomplishing what only a few on this planet could ever even dream of doing.
