Part 3 of a video that shows how you may use RIS to deploy Windows XP SP2 from a Windows 2000 server in fully unattended mode. From RIS installation and configuration, to slipstreaming Windows XP SP2, customizing the SIF (unattended answer file) and even including additional scripts and source files to automate the installation of additional software following the installation of Windows XP.
@JAPAN180SX i think server 03 does support RIS and 2008 support WDS roll? studying for the 70-270 but feel its old topics being taught. - whats testout like?

server 2003 does not have Remote Installation Services. It was replaced by Windows Deployment Services. Been watching appdeploys vids, but like the testout 70-270 videos and ms 70-270 book, it just talks about it, it doesnt actually SHOW you or give exact details. The vids help here but dang too long. makes me wonder why RIS is on the objectives, but WDS is not, then I learned that WDS came out with SP2 (?), if i understand. i hope to find a step by step detailed guide as its bugging me
