@TheCbowman57 Thanks :) I'll give it a try :)

Like it man... for me its also the best desktop experience I've ever had :) I was disgusted when I first saw It on YT. But using it have chagned my opinion about 180 degrees. It's extremly fast, slick and well designed.
My advise to anybody - Try it for a couple of days and go back to your previous desktop. You will miss Gnome 3 ;) That's how it was in my case. :)

@Juilkca, no, haven't used Linux that long, didn't start trying Linux until around mod-90's. That's just the period of time I've been using computers, give or take a year or two. I prefer Gnome or Xfce to KDE, but it's just personal preference.

@TheCbowman57 WOW! You've been using Linux for that long? I like gnome myself better than kde, although others say kde works better.

@rajciok , Absolutely. I've happily run Gnome for years, but liked sampling the alternatives as well. I tried Unity, went into it with an open mind but after a few weeks decided it just didn't suit how I use the computer. When I tried Gnome shell, and started enhancing it through the use of available extensions it quickly imprinted itself on me. In just a few short months I've grown to like it so much that any other DE feels alien to me.

@rajciok, yeah, looking forward to 3.2 but already know it's going to break some extensions. Hopefully the authors will crank out some updated versions real quick.

@rajciok Well we're into November, 3.2 has been available for about a month. It did break most of the extensions but they are currently being developed at a rapid pace. Linux Mint 12 will have Gnome shell but they are going to put their minty touches on it. In my most recent vid I am using a Linux Mint menu extension that is still being developed, it look & runs very nicely.

@YoxisLabs That would be through the use of fpmurphy's eureka extension.
