@ChraftShaft my 214 sei managed 135, i have the vid on my channel :D he 1.4 k series is a very revvy engine compared to the 1.6!

@maurob1979 I live in Sweden, Ibra cadabra!, and have two Rovers of the 400/45 series. I can not tell you to much since the swedish police is not to keen on this kind of driving.
If you want to tune your Rover you should have a look at ebay.co.uk
I would suggest a set of lowering springs from Jamex, a nice air induction kit and tires. Your car is so light that you would beat the crap out of a Ferrari on a twisting road.

@ChraftShaft the semislick tyres yes are very dangerous in the wet(sorry for the english but i m italian) i have a rover 45 1.6 16v club my 2000, i m order the yokohama s drive 195 55 15 , i think are the perfect compromise for wet and dry condition, but in the summer a semislick tyres is perfecly becouse the temperature is very hot here, where do you live?

@maurob1979 The tires came with the car when I bought it. They are a kind of cheap racing tires on 16´´ wheels. I would not recommend them since they are dangerous in wet conditions.

whats ur top speed, ive a 1.4 i got 110 dats with a massive sound system in da boot.
