The only relation between the two is that the Black and Green Dragons feuded in the 1970's resulting in the death of Jim Koncevik.

William Aguiar was a joke. The Black Dragon Fighting Society was just a club of comic book readers, and they were never real fighters. Aguiar symbolizes everything wrong about martial arts--- martial arts for profit that don't really work in real life.

The current Bill Aguiar and his cronies are frauds, also. They have chickened out on invitations to MMA fights. The BDFS is merely a scam for profit.

Talk about going back in time. I have a bootleg copy of his book. Considering the time frame when Asian martials arts were quite new in the West, he was quite the showman and promoter. His ad was up there with Sea Monkeys and Charles Atlas. LOL Interesting to see there is interest in him again. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays.

Apparently they are all ready organized again, all Karte, Yudo, martial arts black belt around the world is getting ready...people who worked in the Pentagon, FBI CIA , etc... that knows what is going on behind the curtains of reality..Good people are joining forces just in case Fema comes to action against civilians.

Haha - as a kid I responded to one of his comic book ads and I was sent a membership card and a few other bits and bobs. Lol Wish I had held onto them, maybe worth a few bucks at some convention?

I remember the black dragon fighting society from an ad in a comic book when I was a kid, some forty years ago, sure wish I had the comic book, sure wish I had the ad.....
