Yes, Montana was as good as "millions" of people think that he was. He was definitely as good as millions of fans all across America, dozens of football analysts and experts on all networks and the HOF voting committee think that he was. In fact, most think that he is the greatest QB ever! His resume' with his accomplishments speak for itself. That includes 4-0 in SBs, in which he had 11 TDs and "0" INTs overall. He's a 3-time SB MVP, and 2 of his 4 SBs he won against Dan Marino and John Elway.

At 7:05 a 49ers staffer telling a delirious Ronnie Lott to calm the heck down. Lol. Ronnie Lott calming down, ever, during a football game? No chance. That's funny to see.

To see Tom Landry pacing the sidelines, looking down at the ground just before "The Catch," there's no doubt he knew the game was over at that point, even before the catch was made. He knew who Joe Montana was, and that he couldn't be beat.
No matter what they say or think about today's Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, neither were ever able to enter the same galaxy as Joe Montana!

One very important fact is missing in the comments about this franchise changing win by my Forty-Niners. After Dwight Clark's TD, Dallas got the ball back and Eric Wright made a game saving horseshoe collar tackle on Drew Pearson to keep the Cowboys out of field goal position. Check it out. Thank you D0omC0okie. I appreciate that. I think that FOOTBALLTROLL1, myself and just a few others really talk NFL football like it was, as well as like it is. I can tell too from our conversations, that we go way back to when this game really was about Defense winning Championships. It's sad how so many fans today are so easily influenced by the NFL's promotions of offense with rule changes that assist offenses, as well as the media's portrayal of the game being an offensive showcase.

Seems like NFL wants QB and WR to biggest factor. I don't see how a RB can protect himself now. RB has been a de valued position and the RB may become extinct like the fullback. So much bullshit going on. NFL is NOT more popular either which many fans are falling for. TV ratings the same and outside USA not too many even like football

Was this rule just implemented today? Goodell needs to be removed from his position. Just like Gary Bettman in Hockey. Those 2 guys called commissioners are ruining their respective sports. Stupid rules and silly Divisional alignments. They both suck! Thank god David Stern of the NBA is on his way out. Wow! RBs can't even lower their heads. That is sad. How is a RB supposed to protect himself? He's going get hurt. I've had it with Goodell!!! He is going overkill now with these rule changes.
