  • Judo isn't as essential to MMA as BJJ or wrestling and this is obvious even by eyeballing it. There are few stand out Judoka to be sure, but far and away the grappling styles that seem to be most important in MMA events are BJJ and wrestling. No offense to practicianers of Judo. I crosstrain BJJ and Judo as I prefer gi grappling to no-gi. Your statement just doesnt hold up after a critical analysis.

  • CARLSON GRACIE BJJ was the best, most aggresive style. Carlson (RIP) was a great man, to nice and people took advantage of him and betrayed him. We miss you Carlson!!!

  • The Gracies, especially Royler, are great. But that never meant they were the only great practicioners as they would have you believe. Sperry in his prime was as good as any of them, as were the Machados.
