Ruffin had leukemia and colon cancer. Here, watch this video of him reading a letter to his fallen teammates on the 30th anniversary of the plane crash. He would finally be reunited with them just a few months later.

Very inspiration video! Hats off to the producer of this piece, it is truly a work of art. And great rendition of You Raise Me Up, also sung by Josh Groban..a beautiful song, We Are Marshall is a tribute to the 1970 Marshall University football team, fans, coaches, and the memory of those who lost their life on that cold, rainy November night. Although it is a terribly sad and tragic story, it is a testament to the human spirit and to the town of Huntington who stands behind their team!

This movie is absolutely great, really good, amazing I LOVE IT. I had to cry all the way, but at the end I was just as happy as the town when they won, it is soo inspiring. The whole town is crushed, they're all together, it''s a beautiful image to see. I wish I had that in my town. What a beauty, Thumbs up for Mister McConaughey; he really did great job, something to be proud of.

I miss Huntington. My sister gave me this movie as a graduation present and my eyes teared up. Not only in sadness of losing the football team, but because, for me, Marshall is in my past and I will never forget it.

Amazing video

This movie made me cry. So did this video. The song mainly. After my great-grandmother's funeral, while driving in the preciesion to the graveyard this song was on the radio. I can't imagine what the real people portraied in this film went through. May God always bless them. Great video.
