A video Trubute to We Are Marshall.

The movie had me crying the whole way through and the actors had so much emotion. This is to all those who died and suffered from loss. From loss comes strength

  • This movie made me cry. So did this video. The song mainly. After my great-grandmother's funeral, while driving in the preciesion to the graveyard this song was on the radio. I can't imagine what the real people portraied in this film went through. May God always bless them. Great video.

  • I am so sorry for your loss :( I feel the same way. Thank you for sharing such kind words :)

  • What is this song? Beautiful vid/song...shoutout to all my friends at MU!

Ruffin had leukemia and colon cancer. Here, watch this video of him reading a letter to his fallen teammates on the 30th anniversary of the plane crash. He would finally be reunited with them just a few months later.

  • GO HERD!!!!!!!! We won't forget.

  • my shoulders fine

  • This video was awesome! I am proud to be a Marshall student!

  • Very inspiration video! Hats off to the producer of this piece, it is truly a work of art. And great rendition of You Raise Me Up, also sung by Josh Groban..a beautiful song, We Are Marshall is a tribute to the 1970 Marshall University football team, fans, coaches, and the memory of those who lost their life on that cold, rainy November night. Although it is a terribly sad and tragic story, it is a testament to the human spirit and to the town of Huntington who stands behind their team!

  • Love this movie, but realy sad... Poor them who died in the crash. R.I.P.

R.I.P. Nate Rufffin and you others who died later. Which disease did Ruffin have?

I hope I one day can stand whith the fountain then the time is stationary.

    R.I.P.

  • This movie is absolutely great, really good, amazing I LOVE IT. I had to cry all the way, but at the end I was just as happy as the town when they won, it is soo inspiring. The whole town is crushed, they're all together, it''s a beautiful image to see. I wish I had that in my town. What a beauty, Thumbs up for Mister McConaughey; he really did great job, something to be proud of.

  • iWatched this movie with my class, it is so sadd):

but the funniest part was when he said "my shoulders fine"

  • I miss Huntington. My sister gave me this movie as a graduation present and my eyes teared up. Not only in sadness of losing the football team, but because, for me, Marshall is in my past and I will never forget it.

  • Amazing video
