It would be nice to have known what transmission this car was fitted with, or driveline, for there were 2 shifts in the transmission, the stock Powerglide in the Chevys would only give one upshift, being only a 2-speed. This was a 3=speed shifting. The ingenuity and resourcefulness always has been respected by me when I am in the country, for there are no parts stores on every corner, the old parts on these cars have to be replaced from hand made parts, or fitted from other vehicles.
Just so people know, if it was not for the Venezuelan government of Hugo Chavez, these old cars would not be on the road. He has traded cheap oil in exchange for cuban doctors and food. A deal that benefits both countries, no matter what anyone says.
@dave98503 Nope, the American government didn't completely ban trade until the 80s. They had fresh parts up until then.
