Obama White House communications director Anita Dunn prasies the killer of 77 million Chinese as one of her favorite philosophers. Wonder what Mother Teresa thinks about democide, genocide, Moa and Anita Dunn? Who is the White House going to praise next Hitler or Stalin?

"Never trust an absolute dictator. Don't believe a word they say, nor any good or sympathetic thing said about them. Do nothing to increase their credibility or reputation. Diplomacy will not work with such dictators. And if push comes to shove, a war against them is just. It will save lives, and free people from their bloody chains."

  • @TBird4490 Mao Ze Dong and Mao Tse Tung are the same person.....

  • Umm... Yeah.....

Mao Ze Dong is actually the uy who committed genocide in China and killed 65 million people.....

    Yeah..... Not this guy.

  • Old, fat white women = Obama

    ????

  • @A86 "Rummel does include famine in democide if he deems it the result of deliberate policy, as he does with Holodomor. However, he argues that there have been no famines in democracies, deliberate or not....Most estimates of democide are uncertain and scholars often give widely different estimates."

  • @chi1928video - The most liberal estimates I've seen that can be said to possibly be in the ballpark are 30 to 35 million deaths under Mao between 1949 to 1976. Most scholars place estimates in the 15 to 25 million range tending toward 20-25 million based on some death tolls (Chinese records of course aren't totally reliable) and from some independent counts and Chinese census records. Census records indicate the population still grew overall from 1950-1980.

  • @A86 Stats come from R J Rummel's work .... STATISTICS OF DEMOCIDE: Genocide and Mass Murder Since 1900 ... He states "Among all the democide estimates appearing on in this book, some have been revised upward. I have changed that for Mao's famine, 1958-1962, from zero to 38,000,000. And thus I have had to change the overall democide for the PRC (1928-1987) from 38,702,000 to 76,702,000." Clearly there are other sources with their own set of numbers and challengers.

  • @Trollandson - Complete bullshit, that would be 1/9 of China's entire population. China's population actually grew from 1949 to 1980. Realistic figures put death rates under Mao Zedong at 20-23 million at the highest, mostly due to several famines and inefficient farming policies. Not executions like during the "Cultural Revolution" that maybe killed 5-7 million people at most.

Don't get your figures from "The Black Book of Communism".

  • @machinehead5760 He actively executed people or beat them in public.

  • it's actually 90-100 million

  • Im a communist, yeah i hate stalin. But Mao was a good man. Many people died through reforms in the industrial area but were not sent to camps and killed on purpose like Hitler or stalin
