The definition of terrorism is too broad and now criminalizes the act of, and disagreement with, the methods, philosophy, goals, etc., of a political party, corporation or government. This limiting of action is linked to the limiting of speech, which limits thought, which limits imagination. This forced internal limiting reduces the ability of humans to think of, and dream a better world.

ELF and ALF are terrorist organizations who destroy the very environment they claim to protect. What good does it do to burn down an entire lumber yard full when that same company has insurance and will simply rebuild. All they accomplished was increasing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere directly by burning the wood and then indirectly by forcing the lumbar company to expend more resources to rebuild using insurance money which is subsidized be other policy holders.
