Chef David Cunningham talks to Brenda Slack on her Farm about the costs of Organic Certifications. She opens up about the reality of the costs and showcases some of her produce. Brenda has lived on this farm her whole life and has over 120 acres where she raises chickens and grows produce without chemicals. Selling her produce all year round and not being able to put up a sign that means "organic" with out paying for it. She uses methods of farming that are beyond organic certifications, because it is what she believes is the "right" way to do things. Also her market works on an honor system for paying.
