I used a Sony P72 digital camera. Then put the pictures into Windows Movie Maker - combination of still photographs and MPEG movies. Kept it under 10 minutes and -- viola, my slide show/movie. Upload through high speed cable modem, that I have through a router to 4 computers. None of them blink on web surfing while I am uploading movie because of the high speed connection. I have uploaded over 60 such movies - all seems to be good! Hope that helps.

My mother and I visited the island for the first time last month. It was incredible. I couldn't stop talking about my trip. My husband must have gotten the hint because he booked us a room at the Grand for our anniversary in two weeks. I'm absolutely thrilled! I hoped to visit Mackinac Island again, but I never expected to do so this soon nor to get to stay at the Grand.

The reason they paint the outdoor cielings blue is because birds get confused and think its the sky so they dont nest on the beautiful balconies

i have stayed there many times, and whenever i do, it is one of the best times of my life. So many memories are made. It is one of my favorites. I look forward to every summer because of the Grand Hotel. if you have never gone there, put it on your top 100 things to do before you die. You wil be grateful you did. :) Its amazing :))

I totally agree. You and I are in the same boat, I see. I can remember as a kid (about 6 or 7) going there. I haven't gone since the day I posted this message (I'm 19 years old). I STILL love that place and would *definitely* love to go back again and stay for a couples weeks or a month, whatever I can afford. Of all the other hotels I've been in, I rate this one as the highest rating possible.

that is the most amazing hotel in the world! i stayed tere for two weeks this summer, it was absolutly fabulous! i even liked it more than the greenbrier

What's your secret of getting nice crisp detailed photos onto youtube? Every time I submit a nice sharp high res. video or photos to Youtube, after uploading they look like crap. What are you doing different?
