Brother Solomon is back to tell of his encounter with David Berkowitz the notorious Son of Sam serial killer. The one thing that many can not and will not accept is that David, because of his confession of sin, has received the gift of eternal life. (more)
The Son of Hope was witnessed speaking in tongues by someone I know, which is amazing that he was even able to beat the demons who might try to keep him from receiving and manifesting the gift of holy spirit, which is greater but does not possess nor control the believer.
Even Hitler could have asked God to forgive him with an honest and true heart and God would have forgiven him---God is no respecter of persons---he doesn't hold forgiveness back when someone is truely repentent---so yes, David Berkowitz culd definitely now be a christian though he may never be beyond the walls of prison---maybe h will change lives through christ while behind those bleak and depressing walls of steel and concrete
There is no such thing as an imperfect cleansing or a partial forgiveness. When you repent of your sins, you are forgiven and cleansed from all of them at the same time. Were David's sins horrible? Are your sins horrible? Look at Jesus' horrible death on the cross, and realize He paid the penalty for all of them. Then receive His new life. And stop getting mad at God for forgiving horrible sins. All sins are horrible. Even yours.
Now thats what I'm talkin bout. You really know what you're talkin bout. My pastor teaches the same thing. It's not so much the sin that God is concerned with, it's the consequences of sin that God doesn't want us to experience.
