I have a FatboxUSA design, for my orion hcca 15.2 on its way, this is a 87lb monster, get proper bracing aswell as 2" baffle where sub mounts with box made of 1" MDF. Make new box to FatboxUSA com specs on those subs and you should be fine. Just trying to help because these subs are MONSTERS, killing dd's, fi's, Solo Barics and you name the brand it will smash it. Goodluck man

MA Audio is not rated properly, That box is not fit for those speakers, bing orion HCCA (and your brand) get specs on what box you need, I can say with the right enclosure you shouldnt have an issue. The newer HCCA's are better than these you got, the 4ohm isn't stable, get the 2ohm 15.2 hcca, then you can get performance, people are getting 150-160dB on single sub comps with HCCA 15.2 with the factory specs, always I mean ALWAYS get the specs on what cubic feet to make a mistake like this box.

@dill30669 try this out you might be over powering your subs or your amp you'll have to tune your amp steve meads shows you one of the best ways to do this its fast easy and you can do it yourself... VERY IMPORTANT check out his channel and check out the video PREVENT CLIPPING! Set AMP GAINS like a Pro! New SMD

my bad some asshole told me that they were only stable at 4 ohms.

@bigwill08cwait the sub is the orion hcca 15.4 which is DVC 4 ohm wired down to 2 ohm. the amp is stable at 2 ohms, the wiring isnt my first rodeo, the problems that are occuring are.

@dill30669 is your subs rated at 2ohm's if not your fuuucked. there is no way you can hook up just one 4 ohm dual voice coil sub to a 4 ohm amp. there is only 2 different ways to wire it, parallel, or in series. one sub im not talking about 2 subs im talking about 1. and if you wire it parallel it will bring it down to 2ohms if you wire it in series your sub then is running at 8 ohms. not 4ohms which you need. my advice get another sub and run it series parallel or switch subs with a 2 ohm.

@dill30669 check your wiring. thats all i can tell you

whats the dimension for that box

man it has been a while, but i think the amp gain was almost 3/4 the way up, ssf was set at about 20 to 25, and the tuning at the dash was 38 hz.. Have you done the big 3 yet and do you have any extra battery"s? what are you setting oh your amp and do you have anything in lin line with the amp?
the reason the voltage was only 11.8 is because the truck was not running, when it is running the voltage is 14.6 all day.
