I guess you would bring current textures into photo editing program and copy past over UV template? This is great instead of several seperate UV templates!
@Boeing727223 exactly , beside it did a little bit different and much better , it is great if you are going to do a big project , in place to have huge folder you have just one map per Chanel that still allow you to edit individual all materials so very versatile in DS, computers are faster today and allow bigger texture maps as before , one more positive point is that you can do it in Photoshop without worry about scales of the body parts so good also for the 2D artists
