Jeannie, thanks for posting this. Next best thing to being there, you lucky stiff! Count me in...I will do anything to try to keep us from four more years of the same...or worse, if that is even possible? Oh yeh, it's possible...McCain could win, bad enough to have to contemplate, but then he could die in office! Need I say more?!

It's weird seeing Obama at your hometown, especially when your hometown is extremely small

I have to admit, I was skeptical when I first heard. I used to teach out there (a LONG time ago) and I wouldn't have thought the people there would be open to him. It was such a diverse crowd, it really made me proud to be an American. It's reminding me of Golden Gate Park in the 60's!! A lot of love.

He actually said he had BEEN to 49 states. You couldn't hear the entire quote. Don't know what you mean about the 57.

I'm sure Barack Obama knows how many states there are. He was a professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago, one of the most prestigious universities in the country.
