  • This song reminds me of my mother at Christmas. She died of breast cancer Aug 23, 2009. I There are so many things in the song that i can relate to my relationship w her. cant explain the way i felt when i heard it for the first time. But I sat alone and cried. I miss her so much. Thank you for writing an incredible piece of poetry and music. I've always been a big fan. Now its just that much more special.

  • My husband of 20 years' Grandma Irene made me feel like I fit into their family so many years ago..she is gone now, but every time I hear this song I feel her..her love of her grandson and her hope that his life with me would be just like this song says... 20 years later, I love him as much as the day I met him and knew he was the one...she saw how much I loved him, and even at the young age of 18, she knew I would love him like she loved her husband...a love that lives forever...

  • @jcf20298 I love the way she tries to smile but in the end she cannot avoid it -- is as poetic.

  • i love the way she tries not to smile but in the end she cannot avoid it <3

  • @baconlover3000sp You like time better? What does that mean? I myself prefer space, though the optimum is when space and time joins together to form a continuum.

  • The year I bought a copy of this album was my fondest Christmas memory of my mom... and that was the last Christmas we spent with her.

She died of Brain aneurysm last April 2009.

    We miss you so much.

  • @LONVOLS Ahhhhhhhh

  • @LONVOLS

Ditto. Alzheimer's got mine, my best friend, wisest counselor, and wittiest person I ever met. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her.
