Urdu may be one of the few language that can express both sorrow and happiness in most expressive way. Word 'URDU' meaning 'LASHKAR' (gathering) in Turkish, fits perfectly as it has gathered all the most beautiful words and expressions from all the major languages of the East. No wonder that in a relatively short period of time it had developed itself into one of the major language of the World. And that is all due to the poets and the writers of this sweet (meethi) language called URDU.

My favourite Zeba begum was on peak at that time when Tauba was released. This was one of the great films of sixties. Music was very good. I saw this movie and had enjoyed it. Madam Noor Jehan sung this marvellous song in a very beautiful way. (01 March 2011)
