A short advert for Peter Labrow's excellent website. Special big thanks to David Nagel for the sound design and Lee Adams for the voices. Also big thanks to all those kind people who upload stuff onto the internet. So cheers to Adam Bullock for his saucers, Xanost for the Mark 4 Dalek and Mechmaster and Billy Homes for the Supreme Dalek.
I've just tried to cram some of the blender wiki, omg I can see what you mean! I am sure when you get to grips with it that it's a marvelous programme to work with. But goodness me, trying to take anything in after a day at work is such a nightmare! Good luck on your course BTW.

It is just a blender course, then again, I am in australia!
There are some really nice blender dalek models, but it is better to do a good job in a bad program then a bad job in a good one! This advert is fine!

No one who animates should ever call themselves too stupid! Daz studio is another freebie animation programme that is quite well supported. Funny you should mention Blender, I have had it on my computer for months, trying to get round to learning how to use it. The other day I downloaded a red supreme Dalek as a blender file. I was thinking of doing this advert all over again in blender just to see if I could. What is the course you are taking?

Ah,
In my internet cartoons, I don't use shadows anyway, my computer isn't strong enough to render them!
And I use Anim8or, I am too cheap to use commercial ones and too stupid to use Blender, although I am taking a course in it....

Poser 7 and Sony Vegas 5, then shrunk to a manageable size in Nero Video. Handy hint-if you're scene is in deep space invisiblise the ground and cancel the shadows.

If you visit the site and navigate to 'Dalek Ilustrations' there is a way in which you can add your site from there. That is what I did for my own site. Peter has to vet it first and as long as he's happy it has sufficient Dalek Relevance he will post a link.
