  • And that's your opinion which you are perfectly entitled to

I think that if any man can go on stage in Glasgow, say what he said and still have the audience laughing along, must have some kind of unbelievable talent.

Very little people could pull this off without being booed off the stage but it was so tastefully and ironically put, the audience couldn't help but appreciate what he was doing.

  • Unbelievable control of the audience. How come I've only just discovered this comedy genius! Truly excellent.

    Spot on.

  • Stewart Lee is God.

  • @klaatoons Your best use of a Time machine would be that? If the after effects of your humour bypass don't wear off I suggest you avoid life at all costs. (if Wallace was half the man the legend has him portrayed as I reckon he would congratulate Stewart Lee for having the balls of steel to enter an 'enemies' lair and force them to look at crass stereotyping and blind patriotism first hand.

  • This is genius, he's looking down as he wants to avoid eye contact, he's actually not even making fun of Scots here - he's making fun of English people, making fun of Scottish people by using myths and stereotypes, except he's using the opposite versions of the actual stereotypes - being rugged, rough, violent etc.

  • @popjoeandco

What? It's ancient history - no one gets offended by it here.

  • @klaatoons The joke, I think, is aimed at mindless nationalist idiots, not the man himself.
