  • Before I knew about sculpey, I bought a bunch of non hardening clay and made a sculpture out of it. can i make a mold from my sculpture or will silicone molds distort the sculpture before it cures?

  • @maikeru01 You should still be able to make a mold off of your sculpture. You might want to find out if the clay has any oils that will cause the silicon to not cure around it and maybe spray your piece with a crystal clear spray paint before attempting to mold it. Good luck!

  • Do you make and sell the toy u r making in vid?

  • @groovythedog We did make a limited number of the Derves for sale, but they have sold out. Watch for more videos with more toys for sale in the future though!

  • hi, whats the best clay to use for sculpting and baking?

  • @gus361 Sculpey and Fimo are the only two we have experience with that require baking. You can mix Fimo with Sculpey to make colored Sculpey, too!

  • The beard makes this twice as good.

  • This is awesome .When you get the time you guys should make more "how to" videos.

  • @gus361 Castilene is the best clay you can use for making Toys. it is required by most companies to use Wax when you make your items. so its best to learn anything you need to learn with Castilene. so you dont gotta try to learn a new tool once you get a job. hardly ANY company will let you use Fimo or Sculpey if your working for them. now however if you wanna just make stuff and sell it (from your own website) use whatever you want. but as i said sculpting for hire is another story.

  • Are you going to do another video that covers cutting

a mold open (mentioned in this video at 9:05)? and

Are you going to cover how to make a pressure tank

out of a paint pot (mentioned at 6:35)?
