This is the first in what I hope to be an extensive series of videos. This 2 part how to is on replacing the "meat & potatoes" of your sliding glass patio doors. (part 2 can be found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbD-lapqDeM ) If cleaning out the track and adjusting the wheels doesn't work, replace the wheels. It's an easy, cheap project that will make you feel like you have new doors. Enjoy, hope I've done OK. I'm sure following videos will improve as I am not used to narrating myself when I work (talk to myself? yes... narrate? no)

  • Awesome Video! It was a big help! My family and I have been struggling with this door for years, and finally the wheel broke off the other day. I found the roller cartridges at my Home Depot. The ones I bought looked a little different from the one's I removed, but the hole pattern and configuration looked the same so I figured they'd work. They did....This door has NEVER opened so smoothly!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!!!
