I like your quote... I hope you don't mind if I use it elsewhere...
Ron Paul 2012 or else the government will F us in a dark alley somewhere.

Government is like fire a dangerous servant. What is worth the death of 500,000 children under the age of 5 years old?
-
Yeah, but how can you tell which candidate is legit and which one changes their decision and lies once in office?
Simple, by their political history.
When a major Oil Company and National bank pour millions into particular presidential candidates, you know damn well something is up. Thats all I gotta say...

Awesome speech! I was there!!!

Hong Kong has had the exact system that ron Paul is requesting since 1998. If you google "Hong Kong poverty" you get a LONG list of examples of what has happened. About 5% of the population has the majority of the wealth. Surfs are becoming the only other class availlable, and it is not a very nice place to live. you want to follow that example? IT DOES NOT WORK. the only place it has been tried and actually even started to work was Hong kong, but then it failed, miserably.

feller- these people and many more need to meet with street justice beginning now. They are forging our chains in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. Let's channel our righteous indignation into a iron will to .........(you know) the only thing a bully understands don't you? Lip service don't mean shit to bullies. -
Great speech.
THe government is a tumor? It feeds people, cares for diabled people, inspects our food supply, water, and air, and creates highways, bi-ways - and funds schools, cafeterias, and even space exploration. Our government does many GREAT things.

These things are great IF they are done at the state level, where people can make that choice, and they can leave the state if it becomes to socialist.
We get about 30 Cents of every dollar sent to the Federal government. The other, 30 cents to intrest on the debt, and 40 cents simply to feed the machine, all the bureacrats and parasites that leech on to the government.
Our gov't is destryoing all this country stands for by growing beyond its constitutional limits and destroying liberty

that's one school of thought. The other is that millions, all around the world, are fighting and stealing to try to get here. They are suffering, and we are the shining becon that will protect them. Without these systems, we are nothing. Only about 1% of our population willingly gives to the needy -the rest buy flat screen, new cars, and a bigger house - the american dream.

You advocate that it is ok for the government to forcibly redistribute wealth inside the US, even though the government is given its rights by the people. I don't have the right to forcibly take money from you, it is called stealing. If I don't have the right to steal money from you then I can't give the government the right to steal money from you.
You will argue, but America was more prosperous before 1920. Ever since America's "prosperity" has been based on selling herself off (ie debt)

the 1920s were reffered to "the roaring 20s" so you can;t say that it was better prior to the 20s. And with that, what did you have today that anyone had in the 1920s? Electricity was still scarce, much less ANYTHING else that you have today. It is a completley different world in wich trillions of people fight for recources that are severly depleated and land that is scarce. There is not enough gold to go around, and oil is running out. So, what is your major plan for fixing this?

Well...First the 1920s were fueled by massive CREDIT expansion which lead to THE GREAT DEPRESSION. In the late 1800s there was a massive CAPITAL expansion.
There are Billions not Trillions of people in the world (FYI)
Yes the standard of living is much better today, but the US has very little REAL wealth left. 40% of the country is owned by foreign interests.
Resources are limited, and thus a free market would determine price. The Gold Standard does not mean that you actually need GLD
