Rich Whitney, established candidate for governor in IL, was not allowed to participate in the ABC7 Chicago debate Oct 20th. Whitney is the Green Party's candidate and the Green Party is an established party because Whitney won 10% of the vote in 2006 when he ran for governor.
The ABC7 debate devolved into a back-and-forth over who was more connected to former Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Imagine what it would have been like if the interests determining who to allow in this debate had not been able to keep Whitney out? Whitney would have cut right through the bickering and attacks and got right down to it sharing his plan to fix the Illinois budget and restore sanity to Illinois politics.
GO UNCLE RICHARD!

It's time to break through the political/media establishment blackout and start being our own media. Post this video to your facebook wall, tweet it, blog it, vote it up, email it, call your friends, pull your family over to the computer and show them that they have a REAL CHOICE. Maximize the vote for Whitney and show the elites that they can't keep the people down even if they silence our voice in their "debates".

The debate with only the two corporate-sponsored parties kind of reminds me of this South Park episode: guide/episodes/s08e08-douche-and-turd
Enjoy... ;)
