I share your passion and am so pleased to see that you intend to keep her and let her out in public. It is my intention to get another when my children are all grown up. shortly after saying goodbye to my first I obtained a 2ltr Vitesse and carried out a full strip down to chassis rebuild. When it went for spraying I was offered a 1200 Herald estate and plenty off cash for her. I did the deal as I much prefer the styling of the Herald. She sadly (for me) went to a good home as I needed a van

@Keithworboys Keith the Herald is such fun to drive, no power steering, no servo brakes brilliant fun, and yes you did make a mistake. Best Regards John.

The Triumph Herald 1200 was my first car at the age of 15. I spent 18 months renovating only to fall asleep at the wheel 3 years later and have to say goodbye to her. A mistake that I shall always regret. Registration number FEX 754 she was my pride and joy. If only I was not so stupid eh.
