just so you know that alot of things are made from China you dope, toys, gifts, electronic cables etc. and are all imported into your country, thats why its affordable becoz of cheap labour. Plus Apple ipods are assemble in China too.

China is notorious for producing counterfeit items of anything and everything. From action figures, to electronics, to clothing, fakes seem to be an everyday occurrence there. Now that being said, "Made in China" does not always mean poor quality. I have used many quality products that were made in China.
The real irony, however, is that authentic iPods are assembled in China. So the fakes and the real ones come from the same place, although part origin of the authentic iPods is unknown.
