A few years ago, another PWC, in response to the suggestion that we have "Medically Unexplained Physical Symptoms (MUPS)" turned the acronym around and described a problem in the medical profession: "Doctors with Unexplained Medical Beliefs (DUMB.)
I sincerely hope that some of the DUMB doctors will sign up for their course in CBT.
What I would sincerely love to know is why my insurance (and its good insurance) will not pay for the XMRV blood test.....yet if you do get lucky enough to be approved for disability medicaid or medicare does pay for the test? They have to make it impossible for those of us unable to work and who cannot afford to pay out the money for this test to prove it. My physician is a joke and I live near the whitmore institute who should make clear to people that they are not open to take patients.
Great!
