@cidscala Hey, I know exactly which one you are talking about and when I saw it I am now thinking about getting it for my canon t3i/600d. Have you tried it using the 3x digital zoom? Let me know! :D

Do you know the brand OPTEKA? I bought a teleconverter 2X and a 500mm lens, both, for about US$130,00! I got a Canon EOS 600D. This equipments are not high end ones but the results and very low price x quality of the photos are very very interesting!

How much does this setup cost in total?

Around £850 for the lens if you can find one, £235 for the Adaptimax adaptor and about £5500 for the camera. The zacuto rails and baseplate another £1000. Not too bad.

This lens cost me £800. I sold it last month for £1000 ( $1500) Cheap for what it is.

Shimmering caused by the earths atmosphere. That's a 5400mm lens for you. 1000mm Sigma prime, magnified X5.4 by the Adaptimax and PMW-EX3. A fantastic cheap way to get super telephoto video.
