Irving Kane went back to bed, however, when he did not get his American Ace coffee.

I grew up in Nashville near your brother. He was a great guy who make great contributions to Nashville's arts world.

1975. I was living out of state then and never got to see the thing, although my brothers were laughing their butts off about it over the phone. Beautification officials were responsible for getting the ad pulled, since they claimed it actually increased the amount of littering... it seemed that Tennessee Trash had become a folk hero.

I remember this from the late 70's at Ft Campbell. remember the weather by George and the news report that use "Music Box Dancer" as the theme

Was that the late great Ed Bruce singing the theme song?

That is indeed Ed Bruce's voice, but it would be inaccurate to speak of him, at this writing, as "late". He is still very much alive.
