Yes, the bar is too heavy and the form is not to FMS standards.
Something for me to work on.

  • I got the feeling you can widen your stance as well as your grip on the bar.

I think you should go for a snatch grip. since that is how the weight would rest on your shoulders if you were to carry a lot of weight.

  • weak and fat!

  • This gentleman is thinking outside the box,Props!

  • WOW. This guy has awesome mobility in his ankles and hips

  • you need to open up those knees and stop your knees from coming over your toes.

  • Read Dan Johns articles

  • I'm in no way an expert on the overhead squat (I only do them for lockouts) but the bar should be held behind the head, not directly over it. The key is to tighten up the rhomboids (imagine holding a pencil between your shoulder blades) and let your head go past the bar - perhaps hold your torso a tad less vertical. Widening your grip a little closer to snatch width might help, but i'm no expert

You also dropped into the squat a little unevenly (leading with the knees) but nothing major.

  • i tried doing that and i keep bending forward. good form, good body, damn you, leave me alone!! lol
