I really loved this old television series. It was a mix of so many things, like detective mixed with a western. I saw a movie called Good For Nothing, and it reminded me of this series. It is a satire of American westerns, but focuses on the ineptitude of the cowboys instead of their glory. youtube. com/watch?v=Bhx9NiG9uhs

One of the best western theme songs along with The High Chapparel and The Magnificient Seven...the latter counts, it was made into a tv show.
