INGREDIENTS:
Recipe for 4 side servings:
1 cup sooji (semolina flour)
1 cup yogurt
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pinch of turmeric
1 green chilly finely chopped
2 tablespoons fine chopped cilantro
2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 cup water as needed
1 teaspoon ENO's fruit salt(Sodium Bicarbonate and Citric Acid)
FOR SEASONING:
2 tablespoons of oil
1/2 teaspoon black mustard seed
2 green peppers chopped about 1/2 inch long pieces

  • what is the thickness of the batter in the pan ? I would think to make large quantities I would need several bathes since the layer in the video seems thin. Please advise.

  • Hi manjula!!! I must say, ur an amazing cook!! BUT i notice you incorporate yogurt in some of your dishes. IS the yougurt plain and unsweetened or is it slightly sweetened. please reply for I have been really doubtful of which yogurt to use in the chola tikki recipe which im eager to make for the family soon.

  • Hi Aunty, what is the substitute for eno? I can't get it here.

  • there are 2 kinds of semolina available in germany ... one is very fine and another is coarse.....

    which one should be used....

    Eno is available in India not here in germany what can be used inplace of eno....

    I must say Manjula aunty U are a wonderful cook....... and very very sweet...
